Ice Skating with The Boarders
Christmas came early for our boarders this weekend as they stepped into a winter wonderland at the ice skating rink at the Spectrum in Guildford. Snugly wrapped up, they hit the ice figuratively and literally! Some took to it more easily than others. One boarder concluded that he kept falling down because he wasn’t wearing his glasses and assured us that it wasn’t anything to do with his skating ability.
There were some impressive performances with twirls and spins (some not necessarily planned) as the children glided around the rink. The gappies were on hand to assist those that fell… we’re a team, afterall!
Afterwards, the Colstocks Crew made a splash zooming down waterslides and crashing into the waves at the Spectrum swimming pool.
Boarding at St Andrew’s really is great fun!
