The Three Kings Meal
In Spain, it is not the Baby Jesus, Father Christmas or St Nicholas who brings gifts on Christmas Day, but rather the Three Kings, whose generosity is celebrated on 6 January, the day of the Epiphany.
To celebrate this special day, the boarders had a Spanish themed dinner, during which one of our boarders, Miguel Artola spoke excellently, enlightening the boarders with details of how the day would normally pan out in a Spanish household. Holroyd Howe, our excellent caterers, laid on a delicious menu, including calamari and a chorizo paella and the children across the year groups loved the board games and karaoke. A super evening.
