Year 2 lunch with parents
Parents and grandparents of Year 2 were invited in to school yesterday to join their children in a quiz about the work they have undertaken this term. The interactive quiz took them all around their classrooms and the Close Hall and gave the children an opportunity to feel proud of their work and achievements. The parents came away with a good understanding of what and how the children have been learning. Afterwards, the children escorted their special guests to the servery and helped them select their lunch from the huge choice available (most chose the roast!) before heading into the dining room to enjoy their meal together. After lunch, the children bid farewell to their mums, dads and grandparents and headed for their Maths lesson.
