Diversity in the boarding house
It is no secret that our full and flexi boarding numbers have grown over the last three years. This year, however, we have also seen growth in the number of nationalities residing in Colstocks. We currently have ten countries represented in the House (England, Italy, Spain, Botswana, France, Hong Kong, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Nigeria and China) and this will increase in the Summer as we welcome more boarders from across the continent. Each of our boarders benefit from the extensive cultural diversity within the House, the wide ranging weekend trips and the activities which occur before the school day begins and at the end of the school day. In addition, our international boarders benefit from our specialist EAL teaching to improve their English.
