2019 Leavers’ ball
Year 8 has just 48 hours left before they walk through the St Andrew’s Prep gates for the final time as a pupil at the school.
Last night, they celebrated the friendships, experiences, and knowledge gained at St Andrew’s with a stunning Leavers’ party, organised by their parents and staged in the gym. With a fantastically colourful and happy Hawaiian theme, the gym looked like Waikiki Beach itself, with surfboards and flip-flops a-plenty, giant pineapples and grass skirted waitresses (thank you parents). The theme continued with palm trees, hoola hooping, mocktails, a tropical DJ, an inflatable surf machine, leis (flower garlands) and themed food to match served on beautifully and ingeniously decorated tables. Of course, the evening finished with a spot of fire-eating!
Though our Year 8s will walk out of the gates as pupils no more, they will immediately become Old Andorivans and we hope that they will always stay in touch with the school and make regular visits throughout their lifetime.
