Family walk 2019
The annual St Andrew’s Prep family walk took place last Saturday, following the hugely successful BBQ, film show and camp on Friday.
This year, families, staff and pupils walked to raise money for the charity, Heads Together.
The pupils looked resplendent in their blue t-shirts as they snaked their way up the South Downs with the sun glistening on the sea in the background. On reaching the top, everyone was happy to catch their breath and enjoy the view back down to St Andrew’s Prep and across Eastbourne.
Participants then continued their journey on a 3-mile, 7-mile or 11-mile walk, depending on their size/number of their legs!
Pupils and parents alike commented on the conviviality of the event and enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with familiar faces and make new friends with the stunning South Downs National Park as a backdrop.
How lucky we are to live and learn in our unique and beautiful location here on the south coast.
