Parents’ visit to Forest School
Today was a ‘back to school’ day for a large number of our Year 2 parents who joined their children for a very wet morning in our gem of a Forest School. Despite the soggy conditions, everyone got stuck in to a mini beast hunt and stick whittling to create magic wands before a warming hot chocolate. Back in school, the group were challenged to a history, art, English and geography quiz before heading for the dining room for a delicious lunch. It was a wonderful morning and gave our parents an insight into their children’s busy, creative and inspiring school days – come rain or shine.
