We aim to help children to reflect upon their own beliefs and values and to make increasingly mature judgements.
In the Middle School, children discover how Christianity became the historic religion of Britain and learn something of the other religions practised in modern Britain. They also look at ideas such as pilgrimage and rites of passage before studying Judaism, Christianity and an introduction to Philosophy.
In the Senior Department the children begin preparation for the Bridge Curriculum and Scholarship exams and study Theology ( New and Old Testament), Philosophy ( Ethics and significant philosophers) and Religion ( Islam and Buddhism).
