Release from lockdown on the way
With the roadmap out of lockdown delivered on Monday night and a light at the end of the Covid-19 tunnel, St Andrew’s Prep staff have taken to their microphones again.
Calling on his West End musical contacts and videography company, AppleCatcher, Mr Cousins has drafted and co-ordinated a ‘Spring Medley’ to Abba favourites Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!; Money Money and The Proclaimers’ 500 Miles.
Packed full of dodgy wigs, eye raising outfits, dogs, puppets and some groovy moves by the staff, the aim of the song is to boost the children’s morale and to keep their spirits high as we enter what we all hope will be the last weeks of lockdown.
St Andrew’s Prep has remained open for children of its key worker parents alongside running an extensive online learning programme for its pupils during each of the lockdowns and will open its doors to all pupils again on Monday 8 March.
