Childhood is precious and the St Andrew’s Prep staff is committed to giving each of the children the happiest of starts in a warm and friendly environment while helping them to develop their individual strengths and characters.
We provide a firm academic grounding across our broad curriculum and ensure that every lesson and learning opportunity stimulates, encourages and engages the children. We believe lessons learned in the classroom are as important as those learned outside – on the sports field, at the beach or woodlands classroom, on the stage, on school trips, or in the boarding house.

Meet the Headmaster – TOM GREGORY
Tom started his career in the City of London working in Investment Banking. After ten years he followed his heart and moved into teaching, immediately finding his vocation. He has held senior roles in various schools over the last sixteen years including Vinehall and Ashfold School where he was the Deputy Head.
St Andrew’s Prep and Eastbourne are familiar territory for Tom. As a former pupil at both St Andrew’s Prep and Eastbourne College, he knows first-hand the schools’ sense of family and community.
Joining Tom in his move will be his wife Esther and children, Maisie (11) and Herbie (8). Esther has a long standing 23-year teaching career in both senior and prep schools.
