Art week
Art Week has been spectacular. Inspired by the National Gallery and a Rubens painting of the same name, this week’s theme has been ‘A Roman Triumph’. As well as story-telling, there have been discussions about religion, worldly rituals, music, design and ancient civilizations. Practically, the children have drawn and built, acted, danced, composed and played and the week was rounded off with a superb Art exhibition organised by the Juniors which displayed a piece of work by every child from Reception to Year 8. Monies raised will be forwarded to the Juniors’ nominated charity, Winter Night Shelter.
