Summer Term: Week 2 28 April 2023 Izzie D'Abbraccio represented the U14 England Fencing squad in Croatia. She finished 12th overall out of 47 in the U14 age group and 25th overall out of 63 in the U17 Cadet Tournament. Well done, Izzie! Nursery practising their numbers and colours. Nursery and Pre-Prep - National Superhero Day. Reception explored alien goo when learning their number bonds with Numicon. Reception learnt about Eid al-Fitr. Year 1 maths week - counting, money bingo and playing 'shop'. Year 1 Forest School - children used natural materials to make 2D shapes. Year 2 Art Club created stunning rainbow pictures Year 2 watched their volcanos erupt. Wowza! Year 2 investigated fractions with leaves and twigs in Forest School. Year 3 planted sunflower and tomato seeds. Beach School - Junior boys painted rocks to sell in their makeshift shops. Mary Anning was an English paleontologist, but our very own Summer shared her incredible fossils with the class. Sustainability Club made posters for World Stop Food Waste Day. Congratulations to Louise, recipient of Tommo's Trophy this week. Well done to the U11A girls cricket team who won their first match of the season vs Skippers Hill.
