Great team spirit at Hurst Junior Athletics Competition
Congratulations to our athletes who competed and supported their teammates so well at the Junior Athletics competition at Hurst College this week. Despite the hot conditions, they all performed tremendously and were a credit to the school!
Results from the afternoon:
Isaac – 2nd in cricket ball throw
Bea – qualified for 200m final
Darcie – qualified 2nd fastest for 75m final
Lottie – qualified for hurdles final and finished 4th in 800m
Tom – 4th in 1500m and qualified for 100m final and finished 3rd overall
Jacob – 3rd in 800m and 5th in 300m
Lefteris – qualified for 200m and hurdles final.
Tom, Jacob, Lefteris and Harry also qualified for 4x100m final
