St Andrew’s was buzzing this afternoon as the would-be entrepreneurs of Year 7 opened their stalls for business during ‘Market Day’ at the bottom of the field. Last term, Mr Jones loaned each pupil £10 to develop their entrepreneurial skills and raise awareness of philanthropy. The pupils set about ‘growing’ the money as individuals or in a group, and they now need to return the £10 plus the profit they have accumulated. Later this term, through the campaigning of the pupils, the monies will be divided among various charities
