IAPS National finalists
Many congratulations to the Under 13 girls’ hockey team who join the Under 11 girls’ team as IAPS National finalists.
Yesterday, The Under 13 squad qualified for their age group defeating St Benedict’s ( 3-1), Halzelwood (11-1) and Lambrook (2-0) in the group stage. In the quarter-finals, the girls defeated Edgeborough (1-0) and a nail-biting semi-final against Junior Kings saw the girls edge through (2-1) with a golden goal. In the final, the team defeated Eagle House (1-0) to secure their place at the Nationals.
The Under 13 IAPS final is to be played at Repton on Tuesday while the Under 11 girls head to their IAPS final at Millfield tomorrow. Go girls!
