London’s Centre for Young Musicians
Many congratulations to Gregory who has secured a place at London’s Centre for Young Musicians (CYM) a division of the Guildhall School. In recent weeks, Gregory has attained three firsts a second and two thirds in six highly competitive competitions in Eastbourne and Sussex playing both the clarinet and piano quite superbly. St Andrew’s Prep is enormously proud of the contribution Gregory makes at the school and we will continue to watch his progress.
CYM focuses on providing training for talented young musicians in a vibrant and stimulating environment where participants learn from experienced and respected performers working in the music profession. Students between the age of 5 and 18 take part in a diverse range of programmes, whether it’s classical, jazz, gamelan, songwriting, folk or musical theatre.
