Megan is Table Tennis champ
In a thrilling final at the Sussex Schools Table Tennis Championship, Year 8 pupil, Megan, faced classmate Grace at the St Leonards Academy in Hastings. In their nail-biting final match, It was two a-piece after the first four games, but Megan sealed victory in the exciting fifth to be crowned Sussex champion. Megan now goes on to the Nationals to compete for a place to play for England. In fact, the girls’ competition was very much dominated by the five strong St Andrew’s Prep girls team members, with Amelia gaining fourth place. In the U13 boys’ competition, Jaime and Ollie fought hard for their last eight places while Alex finished a creditable fourth in the county (losing to the eventual champion). Well done to all the children who took part.
