NSPCC Sponsored Swim
On Tuesday 14 November, the pupils of St Andrew’s Prep got their swimsuits on and woggles at the ready to swim in aid of the NSPCC. Children from Reception through to Year 6 took part in the swim to raise money and awareness for the NSPCC Speak Out Stay Safe campaign. Each child swam a specified number of widths or lengths, appropriate to their ability, with a woggle. The total number of lengths and breadths swum exceeded the initial target of 34km which is the distance between St Andrew’s Prep and Brighton pier and our super swimmers reached Worthing Pier, swimming a total of more than 48.5km!
Mission accomplished and well done to all those who took part in order to raise money and awareness for such a wonderful cause.
