Primrose Farm
Year 6 pupils visited Primrose
Farm in Arlington as part of their current topic of work in Geography. This
term they have been studying primary industries,
with a particular focus on farming.
The trip allowed them to experience life on
a farm and see first-hand the activities that take place. They listened to a
talk by the farmer, who explained how his farm works and how he makes a living.
Afterwards, the children had the opportunity to see the young calves, a dairy
farm and the feeding process. They were most excited about the horses
kept on site. Thank you to Mr and Mrs Appleton for showing us around.
