Public Speaking Competition 2019
Two teams of pupils from St Andrew’s Prep attended the Eastbourne College Prep Schools’ Public Speaking competition this week. Both teams worked extremely hard to prepare some convincing arguments against the excess use of plastics in our society. Daniel, Peter and Guillaume focused on the plastic in our oceans whilst Nancy, Hector and Ana looked at the problems with plastic packaging. Congratulations to both teams who were a credit to St Andrew’s Prep with special mention to ‘Team Ocean’ who were identified as the ‘Most Professional Team’ and Ana who claimed ‘Best Speaker for the Conclusion’. Well done all!
