The Choir Visit St Wilfrid’s
The Monday choir brought festive cheer to St Wilfrid’s Hospice on Friday, singing favourite carols and songs to their wonderful patients, staff, carers and visitors. David Scott-Ralphs, Chief Executive of the Hospice, introduced the choir and thanked the children for taking time from their busy schedules to visit the Hospice. Front of House Manager, Andrew Burrell, told the children that their carols could be heard throughout the building, and that many of their staff and visitors had made their way to the foyer, especially to listen to them. He divulged that he wished the children could have seen the happiness and joy their singing had brought to their patients.
The visit was an important one, further enhancing and establishing the school’s links in the community.
