Top 50 UK Prep School for Cricket
The UK’s best schools for cricket have been revealed in The Cricketer’s Schools Guide 2023.
For the fifth year running, we are delighted that St Andrew’s Prep has been included in the Top 50 UK Prep Schools for cricket by The Cricketer Schools Guide 2023 magazine. It follows an exhaustive process which saw a record number of schools submit entries to be included in the guide. All entries were judged against an extensive set of criteria, which included a compelling commitment to cricket in the curriculum, facilities, fixture programmes and coaching.
Not only do the pupils at St Andrew’s Prep benefit from the fantastic coaching expertise of Head of Cricket, Mark Tomsett (MCC YC’s Captain and Sussex 2nd XI), but the wonderful indoor and outdoor practice and playing facilities on site. All of these assets allow us to host local cricket clubs in addition to school fixtures. All girls and boys, from Year 3 to Year 8, learn to appreciate the wonderful game of cricket and to achieve their own potential with many involved at local club, district and county level. We are thrilled to retain our position in the Top 50 UK Prep Schools for cricket.
